Fashion Week Cleveland, which has been called "the nation's third largest fashion week after New York and Los Angeles," (Womens' Wear Daily) combines art, fashion, and music. We spend a great deal of time searching for talented performers who compliment our "stylish" events. Collaborations between entertainers and fashion designers is nothing new, just look at the costume collections of Hard Rock Cafe' and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Fashion influences music. Music influences fashion.
Performances at international fashion weeks is a growing trend in entertainment.Leading artists expand their brand and audience in collaborations with fashion weeks. This year Fashion Week Cleveland is particularly interested in "all girl" acts, primarily female entertainers, and performances that appeal to women. Entertainers to be announced in press releases, publications, internet postings, and right here on this website. Be a part of this great fusion of fashion, art, and music!
I cannot write in verse, for I am no poet. I cannot arrange the parts of speech with such art as to produce effects of
light and shade, for I am no painter. Even by signs and gestures I cannot express my thoughts and feelings, for I am no dancer.
But I can do so by means of sound, for I am a musician.
- W.A. Mozart, Composer and Musician
No change in musical style will survive unless it is accompanied by a change in clothing style.
Rock is to dress up to.
